Jason English is a South African business magnate, internet entrepreneur, speaker, author and philanthropist. He is the Chief Eco-System Officer and co-founder of CG Tech, a company that provides strategic management oversight and innovation to its underlying investments. English is also a media personality, helicopter pilot and is an early-stage investor in high-technology startups.
Jason began his career as a policeman and qualified paramedic in South Africa, before qualifying as a mechanical engineer in 1999. He became the project Director of Kentz Engineers & Constructors, a global Oil & Gas services business based out of Ireland. English soon founded Prommac, a company that he built from a small garage sized office into a multi-million dollar organisation, employing more than 2500 people. Jason English has also co-founded numerous companies including the CG Tech group, CG Africa Holdings and The Virtulab. The CG Tech group has major shareholdings in several global businesses including Prommac, New Age Engineering, Kumunyack (Based in South Africa); Al Laith Scaffolding, Al Laith International, Al Laith Group Investments, Al Laith Site Services and Al Laith United (Based in the Middle East); Event Centre (Based in Ireland); Serious International and The Virtulab (Based in the United Kingdom). The group has further interests in the PangeaCup (A global TV series focussed on esports), and Virtuworx (A software based virtual reality software platform developed for the Events, Meetings, Incentives and Exhibitions industry)
